Alpinum was founded in 2016 by Dr Mike Bartley, a long-time contributor to the semiconductor design and verification space with more than three decades of hands-on leadership experience. The company was created to bridge the gap between evolving DV challenges and the available solutions on the market, offering consultancy focused not just on theory, but on delivering grounded, practical engineering support.

From those early days, Alpinum has expanded into a global consultancy with teams and partners across the UK, Europe, the US, and Asia.
