Design Verification Engineer
Location: India, Remote
About the Role
Join an innovative engineering team at the forefront of semiconductor design and verification. You will work on advanced verification of digital designs including SoCs, IP blocks, and custom silicon across domains such as AI accelerators, multimedia, communication systems, and memory controllers. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to state-of-the-art hardware powering next-generation products.
What We Expect From You
- Develop and execute verification strategies and test plans based on functional and architectural specifications
- Build and maintain constrained-random verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM methodologies
- Create and run directed and randomized test cases, collect and analyze coverage metrics to ensure comprehensive verification
- Collaborate closely with RTL designers and cross-functional teams to debug and resolve design issues
- Perform power-aware verification and low-power flows when required
- Utilize assertion-based verification and formal methods to increase verification confidence
- Manage regression runs, verify protocols such as AMBA, PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, and memory controllers
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure using Python, Perl, Tcl, or Bash
- Document verification plans, environments, and results for internal and external stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 5+ years of professional experience in RTL verification of digital designs
- Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and verification methodologies
- Solid experience debugging RTL designs and working with verification tools and simulators
- Experience with functional coverage and coverage closure techniques
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts as applied to verification environments
Preferred Qualifications
- MSc in Electronics or related subject
- Hybrid (experience across multiple verification approaches is a plus)
